After 6 weeks of negotiations, Danny Boy has refused to unconditionally testify before the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, which is investigating the Scumbag's history of widespread sexual harassment in his co-called "organization", aka the Washington Commies. So, the Committee issued a subpoena on July 25 with which, incredibly, his lawyer Karen Seymour (who used to be an optomitrist) refused to be served (word has it that she hid in either the men's room or under Danny Boy's skirt). Danny Boy had agreed to "voluntarily testify".
There is a significant difference between congressional testimony offereed voluntarily and that offered under a sworn deposition pursuant to a subpoena (according to me, a lawyer - I also graduated from high school). If voluntary, Danny Boy chould choose which questions he would answer. Under a subpoena, he would be placed under oath and not have that latitude unless he cited a Constitutionally protected priviledge for each specific question.
Gosh, I believe in the Constitution and all that (before the Supreme Court gutted it), and Danny Boy's 5th amendment rights, but it's common knowledge that when someone pleads the 5th, they have something to hide, just as when someone "lawyers up" when being interrogated by the cops. Guilty as sin! Lock him up! Lock him up! Lock him up! (It cannot be long before the Trumpet says Danny Boy is a "very very fine man").
I can't wait for Seymour to put on her glasses so she can find the exit door from the men's room. And then, the circus can begin, with Danny Boy wearing a red nose in honor of him being the circus clown. I'm taking bets on how many times he invokes the 5th. The winner gets to be the first person in line for season tickets to Commies games (BTW, no one else is in line).
